Hucclecote Premier Player Anna Mayes has been appointed to work with Sue Hawkins as the Assistant National Coach in preparation for this years Common Wealth Games. With Kendra Slawinski OBE stepping down due to commitments Anna will ensure continuity for the squad.
Anna began her netball with Lawn prior to moving to join Hucclecote in the then National Clubs League. Anna also went on to play for Superleague TeamBath before switching to Celtic Dragons and in addition represented Wales.
Anna was fast-tracked alongside Jess Garland in her coaching role and has worked with England for the past 3 to 4 years. We wish Anna well in her new role. Well done !
