Bags for Sport is a non profit making organisation set up to help raise the necessary monies that all sports clubs and youth organisations need to provide opportunities, equipment, clothing, transport, etc. Their concept gives Hucclecote Netball Club the opportunity to raise much needed money by asking our members to get involved and donate unwanted clothing, shoes, belts etc.
When pre season training starts in August/September there will be an information leaflet and bags available for you to take home. Put into the bag unwanted clothing and return it to the club - where a pre organised collection date will have been agreed.
One of Bags for Sport's staff will weigh the goods on site and issue a receipt to the club -they will pay the club £400 per tonne (40 pence per kilo)!!!
Within 6 weeks a cheque will be issued to the club along with a Certificate of Achievement It is not only raising money for the club but also providing affordable clothing for people in less privileged countries as well as saving our environment.
