Panthers match against Randwick was expected to be a closer encounter than it turned out.
With only 8 players available there was little room to manoeuvre players.
The starting 7 immediately took control with shooters Natasha Young & Paige Baker converting 9/11. Mid court Olivia Garrard & Amy Cooke pressured Randwick forcing errors through court & intercepting a number of passes. In fact during the first q Randwick only
had 3  attempts at goal, converting 1.
During the next 2 q`s again shooting restrictions were denied Randwick with Tiara Cowley and Katy Kalap in the defence circle tipping & rebounding any missed shot.
During the 2nd half Paige Baker back in her more familiar Gs role netted 11/11 giving Panthers a commanding 22-5 lead at 3/4 time.
During the final q with Meg Knight moving across from Wd to GA & Connie Trendle back to Wd, Panthers continued to dominate the game extending their lead to finish 26-6.
It was a solid performance from all players who dominated Randwick in all areas of the court.
