Hucclecote found it difficult to get into their rhythm in the first quarter of this game whilst being under pressure from a Gloucester Ladies team keen to win the game. Hucclecote found themselves forcing the ball and making a large number of errors and resulting in a score of 6-6 at quarter time. A change on the WA saw Arnie Brown coming on to the court with instant impact! Herself and Sarah Amey worked tirelessly to provide the shooters with time to get free against an aggressive Gloucester Ladies defence. Both Nikki Guest and Charlotte Olley benefitted from some excellent feeds from the two attacking players. The defence dominated the Gloucester Ladies attack forcing a lot of turnover ball greatly assisted by the return of Liz Ashmead at GK from injury and Toni Lowery at GD, who both made some outstanding interceptions. Half time saw Hucclecote in a more comfortable position winning the game 16-8.

From then on the match was never in doubt, changes in line up saw Kate Nichols who had started the game show her versatility playing at C (even though she is a GA!!) and the last quarter saw a welcome return of Hannah Evans (on holiday from uni) playing at GS.

A tight and highly pressurised game thoughout, Hucclecote are still at the top of the league with an unbeaten record of 11 wins out of 11.
