Saints proved to be a tougher encounter, however within the first 15 minutes Dragons young U.15 GK Hannah Howl followed in her Captains footsteps and turned over 3 clean interceptions and strongly took 2 clean rebounds. Commitment to the ball throughout the team was exciting to watch with Alex Baird and Katya Jennings playing shooter to shooter ball, proving double trouble in the shooting circle for Saints as Scott and Evans fed with ease. With Ellie Gabriel staying tight 1:1 on the WA and with Sanderson in support at the back , Saints had limited opportunity and the first quarter ended with Dragons leading 16-6. Two new wings came on for Dragons with Meg Knight and Olivia Garrard taking court.  The attack continued to excel and scored their most attempts in this quarter with the help of Knight and the defenders continuing to turn ball leaving the score at 34-14 at half time.  Resting Evans saw Amy Cook on at Centre who offered great speed and drives through court showing how versatile and strong the Dragons squad are.  This was a dominant performance where Dragon won 63-35 with player of the match being awarded to the young Hannah Howl.
