Storm continue to set the pace in Division 3, with their fourth win of the season.  Despite going two goals down at the start of the game, they hit a run of 15 goals without reply to see out the first quarter 18-4.  Lily Simmonds impressed with her shooting netting 14 out of 15 attempts, with some excellent support and movement from Iona Wong and feeds from Fran Preedy and Becky Mogg, while defensively Hannah Jones, Eleri Sewell and Sharon Greening kept Tommies at bay, limiting them largely to long-range efforts.  The second quarter was a scrappy affair with both sides competing for possession and despite not getting into their flow Storm extended their lead to 31-10.  The strength and versatility of the squad was demonstrated in the third quarter, as Fran came into the shooting circle and combined well with Lily, Becky and Mary Crapper, dealing with the physical presence of the opposition to further increase the lead.  The defensive unit of Beth Perry, Hannah and Eleri defended tightly and turned ball on many occasions.  Storm took a 46-15 lead into the final quarter, with Iona returning at GS and Fran moving to GA.  Beth (GK) and Hannah (GD) limited Tommies to further long range efforts and the mid-court trio of Sharon, Beth and Mary gave opportunities for Iona and Fran to comfortably take the score beyond 60 goals, and make it four wins from four.
