A depleated squad this week saw Storm make hard work of this match.  The first quarter was scrappy and Hucclecote were unable to find their own rhythm only holding onto a narrow lead to head into the next quarter.  As the second quarter developed so did Storms confidence and concentration and the lead was extended.  The attack of Lilly Simmonds and Iona Wong showed patience and maturity against a physical attack and inconsistant umpiring.  Becky Mogg, Mary Crapper Ella Gardner and Sharon Lowrey were hassled off the ball throughout the match but showed great strength and resillience allowing their superior skill level to shine through turning over ball after ball.  The defensive team of Eleri Sewell and Beth Perry worked well together and were able to stop many goal scoring chances.  Storm worked hard right to the end finishing with a flattering score lime of 39 - 26.  A scrappy game this week but won comfortably in the end - a good team effort.
