Storm made it 6 wins from 6 with a hard fought victory over New Red Saints.  After an evenly contested opening, Storm started to dominate with some quick and decisive moves from defence through the mid-court of Sharon Greening, Fran Preddy and Ella Gardener to attack, with Lily Simmonds returning 13 from 14 attempts on goal secured a 15-8 first quarter lead.  The second quarter was a closer affair, as NRS disrupted Storm's rhythm and started to recover the deficit, but a combination of tight defending from Beth Perry and Eleri Sewell and accurate shooting by Lily and Iona Wong albeit from fewer attempts saw the half time score to 23-15.  Storm were a little slow out of the blocks for the third quarter and despite an injury to Sharon and a reshuffle of the defence, began to assert their authority, dealing well with NRS's long ball game and using their speed and movement to good effect to take the lead to 33-22.  The final quarter saw the defence limit NRS to long efforts, with Hannah Jones proving effective at WD and Mary Crapper providing good support at C.  Despite some impressive goals from the long-range efforts of the opposition, Storm were more than a match and further stretched their lead to take the match by 46-33.  This was another solid win against physical opponents, which sees Storm holding pole position in League Division 3.
