Some major changes to the starting line up saw Hucclecote taking time to adjust in the first quarter of the game.  However strong defence from Hannah Jones, Eleri Sewell (C) and Sharon Lowrey kept Hucclecote in it.  Once into their stride Hucclecote began to accelerate and a persistent attack created the opportunities needed to lead the first quarter 12 - 7.  With a move from GS to C Fran Preedy linked well with Mary Crapper who remained consistent throughout.  Sam Hogg, who joined the team for the first time for this match proved to be a strong dynamic player and she complimented the accurate shooting from Iona Wong.  Fran, Mary and Ella Gardner took control of the centre court not only feeding the shooters accurately but also turning over ball and forcing Winhcombe A to make errors.  An injury to Fran Preedy in the final quarter saw the Storm squad adapt quickly and go onto extend their lead and win 53 - 28.

Congratulations to Mary Crapper who was named player of the match.
