Final Score: WIN 35-32

Storm extended their lead at the top of Division 3 with a hard fought victory over a strong Glos Ladies side.  With no more than 3 goals separating the teams throughout the match, and having been 3 down with reply at the start of the game, Storm took the lead in the second quarter and never surrendered it.  With two members of the regular squad missing, Emily David was called up and fitted in well in a evenly contested first quarter, which Glos Ladies shaded at 12-11.  Iona and Lily coped well with some aggressive defending, while the mid-court of Emily, Becky and Fran worked hard to close down and look to move the ball swiftly up court.  Sam Hogg came in for Emily in the second quarter at WD, as Storm took the lead and then traded shot for shot to lead 21-19 at the half-way stage.  Hannah and Eleri working as a unit put pressure on the attack, limiting them mainly to long-range efforts, as Glos Ladies mid-court had to work hard to get the ball into the circle.  The third quarter saw an injury to the Glos Ladies GK, which held up play, and although both sides took a little while to settle after this, Storm kept their focus and extended the lead by 1 to 28-25.  In a thrilling finish to the game, the final quarter saw Glos Ladies edge back and draw level at one stage, but the whole team stuck to the task, maintaining an excellent work rate and dealing with some physical play to take the game by 3.  Overall this was a superb win which underlined the team's position in the league, with 11 wins from 11.
