Hucclecote v Galmington

Hucclecote started off the game positively with a much more determined outlook following the Poole Aquarians result. The defensive trio of Claire Richards, Caroline Hughes and Helen Werrell were turning the ball over left, right and centre, but Hucclecote failed to utilise this posession with lot's of errors creeping in.
The second quarter saw more focus and determination to win the game and Hucclecote moved into a small lead winning by 4 at the break.
The third quarter saw a change in line up, with Claire and Caroline changing round at GD and GK and Harriet Pratten moving to WD to take control of bringing the ball out of defence. Caroline Bedford was introduced at WA, and this saw an immediate impact. Caroline Hughes took two flyers and Hucclecote looked much more in control of the game, coming off at the end of the third gaol with their biggest lead of 11.
The fourth quarter saw Galmington claw themselves back in, but the game was never in doubt. Hucclecote ended up winning by 6.
