Hucclecote without Captain Jane Stringer through injury dominated in all areas of the court for the first half with Kerry Walsh and the defensive duo behind her of Richards and Barrett in outstanding form.

Sarah Lee at Centre controlled the ball through court linking in well with WA Hannah Faulkner.
With shooters Carly Taylor and Michelle Dowel getting plenty of opportunity they scored  19 of their 31 attemps putting them 4 goals ahead at this stage.

The 2nd half saw domination role reversal with Lawns newly replaced GA  opening up Hucclecotes defence allowing the Lawn GS to net 10 out of 10 and closing the game to within 2 goals.

Hucclecote also made changes however the final 15 saw Hucclecote's error rate increase, as they struggled with consistency of passing, feeding the circle and had only 15 attempts at goal during the whole of the 2nd half period.

Lawn's sudden drive and determination took them up a gear and they went on as worthy winners to take the game 37-29 during this period.
