With a depleted squad, Hucclecote travelled to Plymouth and had a close first quarter in which Hucclecote kept possession of the ball well but struggled to get the ball into the shooting circle due to the physical nature of the opposition.

With a score of 4 all, this reflected the many missed opportunites for both sides.  Plymouth came out strong during the 2nd 15 minutes and made more of their opportunites giving them a lead of 5 goal at half time.  The return of Emily Yates in the 3rd quarter gave additional height in the circle and Hucclecote were able to combat the physicality of the defence.  Sadly with a minute to go in that quarter Emily came off injured.

The final quarter with renewed determination Hucclecote came out fighting but sadly lost the quarter by 1 goal losing overall by 6.  Captain Jane Stringer & Rosie Barrett produced a good performance but sadly Huccelcote’s depletion showed on the day finally losing 23- 29.
