Liz Banyard's management of the Regional Team in the absence of co-coach Gilly Salter, led them to winning ways in a really exciting to the wire game.  Gamington who led from the outset saw GA Charlie Boage complete  some clinical finishing converting goals well.

However, Banyard's re-arranged line-ups enabled Hucclecote to close the gap, and whilst Jane Stringer (capt) had to leave the court in the 2nd quarter with a re-ocurring ankle injury, Hucclecote's Kerry Walsh who was moved from C to WD made an impact stealing many turnovers.   With Liz Brassington stepping into Centre, the 4 goal deficit began to diminish.  Carly Taylor at GS impressed and with 30 seconds to go, Hucclecote worked tirelessly until eventually it was level pegging.  With Banyard egging the team on to stay calm, they went on to steal the game taking victory by just one goal 36-35.  This was a great result for this newly formed squad who are impressing more and more as each game passes.
