Hucclecote missing 4 key players today never looked in doubt playing in a tough contest against Roman Glass.  The first quarter saw an impressive performance once again from Kerry Walsh who turned huge amounts of ball over and although Hucclecote had a higher share of possesion, and converted 10/13 shots during this period, it was unforced errors that let their opposition stay within 4 goals at the end of the first quarter.

The second quarter saw flashes of brilliance with Kirsty Trueman and Hannah Williams both invited in due to injuries and illness playing great pace through mid court.  At one stage, Hucclecote pushed the lead further by 11 goals, but Roman Glass came out strong in the final 5 minutes closing this to just 8 goals.  During the 2nd quarter Anna Joll took on a more dominant shooting role and netted 6/10 with Hallbrook converting 6/9 .

The third quarter saw Hucclecote lose pace and accuracy and with errors creeping in through the whole of the court and ill discipline at the back giving 8 errors away in this period, Roman Glass came on strong and closed the gap to just 2 goals.

With Hannah Williams back at Centre, this added pace once again for Hucclecote, and after a stern chat by their Coach, the team hit the court determined and lifted their game scoring the first 4 goals of the period.  Barrett at the back came alive during this 15 minute period and taking 2 clear interceptions and nearly every rebound and this combined with the whole team effort saw them take the game by 10 goals - 43 - 33 .

Missing Jane STringer, Michaella Iffil, Carly Taylor and Hannah FAulkner, this was in the end an impressive victory, turning it round from their first half result.  Kerry Walsh was outstanding playing out of position at GD.
