Captain Liz Ashmead had one of best performances today dominating throughout the game and taking some well read interceptions both in and out of the circle helping her team to a 16-10 lead in the first quarter.

Harriet Pratten at Centre controlled well linking both ends and combined with Charlotte Johnson at GD who has just got better and better this season stole many turnovers and rebounded well. The half time score of 36-25 in Hucclecotes favour could have been more if their shooters had shown the same consitency from earlier games.

The 2nd half saw Sarah Amey on at C and she too added good attacking skills through court, and although Hucclecote had their most attempts at goal during this period they only managed to score 14 out 20.

The final 15 minutes saw Hucclecotes Rhianna Hallbrook back in her usual rythm, and with Kayleigh Garbett-Roberts switched to Gk, and Captain Liz Ashmead out on WD, the defensive unit proved awesome restricting Crossbow to just 3 goals in this period!

With Pratten at WA adding pace in the end third, Hucclecote continued their winning ways keeping a clean sheet at the half way point of the season and looking clear favourites to take the title.

Thanks are extended to David Stringer who stepped in to take on the umpiring role at short notice.
