Another frustrating result for Hucclecote B, but an encouraging performance against a tough physical Plymouth side.

Having been in contention for 3/4's of the game, it was Plymouths experience that gave them the edge in the final 15mins to creep ahead & take the points.

Plymouth took an early lead 8-12 in the first 15 mins, with both their shooters netting 100%.

Hucclecote stuck to task, with the defence unit, Hannah Faulkner, Fliss Phillips & Sarah Bonar in particular turning ball which clawed back the deficit to lead by a goal at half time.

It was in this period that the shooting partnership of Flo Edwards & Hannah Jeavons began to gel, converting 15/19 between them.

Lucy Smith at Centre fed some precision balls into the shooters with Helen Werrell at WA working tirelessly to drive to the circle edge.

Bringing on fresh legs at half time in Kate Nicholls @ WA & Lucy Werrell @ GD took a few minutes to settle, but the turning point in the game was the change in the Plymouth shooting line up.

Coach Denise Ellis coming on at GS, used all her experience to draw & create space for her GA who converted 12/13 in the 3rd quarter & 11/12 in the final quarter.

Hucclecote never gave up the chase, but once Plymouth got into the lead, any error was pounced on & converted.
