Week 3 Round up

Hucclecote Premier squad secured their 2nd win in Division One of the Premier League over local rivals Team Bath. Trailing by one until half time, the match was closely contested throughout. It was onlyduring the 3rd quarter that Hucclecote edged ahead and then went on to increase their lead to 7, winning the match 45 goals to 38.

Both Regional squads had resounding wins, Stars over Almondsbury60-41 and Comets over Weston 53-34, both from Avon.

Hurricanes top the table of the Premier Division local league after notching uo their 3rd successive win. This week over Challengers Flyers 48-33.

Lightning faced much tougher opposition in Gloucester Ladies A, slipping to an 18 goal defeat, 32-50. This was an encouraging resulthowever as a number of younger players had to step up a division this week.

This had an impact on Storm who were without two strong court players. They found they could not match Nomads experience and went down 23-43.

Tornadoes taking on Seven Up had a resounding win 39-19. This young team of U15/U14ís are relishing the opportunity to play in the adult league.

Hucclecote` Premier are back in action at Cheltenham college again on Sunday v Oaksway from Hartlepool. 11.30 start time.
