Week 5 Round up

Hucclecote Premier squad slipped to a 13 goal defeat against league leaders The Downs from Surrey. Both teams were depleted, but the result was disappointing for Hucclecote having been in contention for the first half of the game.

Regional Stars had another convincing win by almost 20 goals over Pinehurst from Swindon, consolidating their top of the table position.

Regional Comets at home to Marjohn from Plymouth struggled to find their consistency, going down by 8 goals after storming into an early lead.

Hurricanes continue to top the table of the Premier Division local league after notching up their 5th successive win. Newly promoted Bishops Cleeve Fillies couldn’t contain Hurricanes who ran away with the game notching up 64 goals to Fillies 23.

Lightning had their best game of the season so far. They have struggled to find their form so far, but on Saturday fought hard for an excellent draw with Gloucester Ladies B.

Storm found they could not match New Red Saints in Div 1 and went down 17-46.

Tornadoes had a competitive match with Randwick and played really well to hang on to win by 6 goals, 35-29. This result puts Tornadoes at the top of Div 2.

Hucclecotes Juniors were in action again in the Bentham League.

The U16 C squad lost narrowly to Old Chelts C 13-15. The U 14 A squad had a convincing win over Old Chelts A 36-11 while the Bsquad  lost narrowly to Cirencester 18 goals to 21.
