29 December 2015 - Half Season round up
At the half way

At the half way stage, most Hucclecote teams are lying at or near the top of their respective leagues.
The exception is Hucclecote`s top team playing in Div 1 of the national Premier league. They are at the bottom failing to win a game so far. With virtually a new squad this year, they have found it difficult to cope against teams full of Super League players, gaining match play before that league kicks off at the end of January.  Coach Jamilla Abbott is hoping to turn this around in the new year, with hopefully Super League players concentrating on the start of the Super League season!
Stars in Regional League 1 have had a good season to date winning 8 of their 10 matches played so far. This places them currently in 3rd place, 7 points adrift of league leaders Poole.
Hucclecote Comets lead Regional League 2 with a superior goal difference over Almondsbury & Romans from Bristol.
In the local league, Hurricanes trail Challengers by 1 point having beaten them just before Christmas. Lightning also in the Premier Division are lying mid table
Storm in Div1 are in equal 3rd place with Stroud cobras & Tornadoes in Div 2 are in 2nd place only 4 points behind league leaders Upton.
All Hucclecotes junior teams continue to flourish. The U16 regional team are unbeaten so far, heading the table with a place in the national finals at stake. In the local league jaguars are in 3rd place.
Hucclecote U14`s are in 3rd place in the Regional league with the B team in 4th place in the Bentham league. U13 Eagles top their league with the U12`s currently mid table.

Hucclecote still have 3 teams left in the Bateman cup competition which is at the quarter final stage & with Lightning having drawn Storm, they are guaranteed to have at least one team in the semi`s!
