We are thrilled to announce that Ella, one of Hucclecote Netball Club’s brightest young talents, has been selected for the England Roses Academy for the 2024/25 season! At just 15 years old, this is a huge achievement and the result of her hard work, dedication, and passion for the game.
Ella’s journey began with HNC U12s in 2019, and since then, she has progressed through the club's ranks, playing at regional and national levels. Her experience includes playing in the Severn Stars PDP, competing in the National Performance League (NPL), and recently training with the HNC National Prem 1 and Regional 1 squads. This opportunity with the England Roses Academy is a testament to her incredible skills and determination.
There’s also a strong family legacy behind Ella’s netball success—her mum, Sarah Morris, was a standout player for Gloucestershire County, although playing at the other end of the court!
We are so proud of Ella’s achievements and look forward to seeing what the future holds as she continues to grow and excel in her netball journey.
